EDIT: PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS ON HERE FIRST, AS WELL AS THE REST OF THE TEXT.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE 2.5 BETA!
If you have the 2.5 Beta, please uninstall it and completely remove any reference or pieces of it left after uninstalling the 2.5 beta, this skin is only compatible with 2.4
An Update to my Ginza skin for Rainmeter is out NOW!! CLICK THE DOWNLOAD BUTTON AND TRY GINZA TODAY!! *Record Halt*
Turn off whatever Icons you wish after first starting this skin by right clicking the icon, going to Variants -> iconname.ini, to turn it off (for those that did not know how to do so, thanks)
~~~~PLEASE READ BELOW BEFORE INSTALLING~~~~ Due to the many changes i have made to the skin, it is HIGHLY RECCOMMENDED that you first delete the old Ginza skin folder, which can be found in My Documents -> Rainmeter -> Skins, and delete the entire Ginza directory, and do a fresh install, this ensures this update works correctly, thank you.
~~~INSTRUCTIONS~~~ BEFORE INSTALLING: If you are using the 2.5 beta of rainmeter, please properly uninstall it and cleanse your system of anything related to the 2.5 beta, if this is not done, there is a very high chance the skin will not work, the skin is only compatable with 2.4
To set the Directories using the new Settings Panel, Click on the Text that says "Steam.exe Directory" or "Dreamweaver.exe Directory" or any other one, they are all editable, once clicked, a text box will appear, you HAVE to write the full absolute path to the executable, an example is below:
Example: Drogram FilesSteamSteam.exe
and then hit Enter, it should automatically update, if the icons are not working after writing in the correct directory, then please right click a rainmeter skin part and go to Rainmeter -> Refresh All, this will force the icons to update.
go to My Doucments -> Rainmeter -> skins -> Ginza -> Vars -. Open the usersettings.inc file in notepad, inside, there should be Firefox=, ont he end of that, type the full directory, do not use any "'s, or 's, type in the dirve letter with full directory, save the file, right click rainmeter,rainmeter -> refresh all.
it works on all systems i have tested on and even sent it to multiple people and it works perfectly fine, so try that method and if that doesnt work then you are not doing something right im sorry to say.
if you are by chance trying to use it on linux Via WINE then i would not because linux is not supported.
well i am unsure of what is causing your problem then, it works on all the nurmerous boxes i have tested on, from a range of boxes on windows XP to windows 7 ultimate and friends PC's which totals nearly 30 machines that have not had a problem. it may be a rainmeter related problem, and not my skins.
if in doubt, please read the instructions and notes in the artists comments just below the deviation, it provides all the information that is needed by anyone and everyone.
D:\Program Files\Mozilla\FireFox.exe
if you have done that and it doesnt work, right click a peice of the skin and go to: Rainmeter -> Refresh All.
it should work after that.
